Publication on negotiated work culture at Alleo
Interculture’s network-partner Christoph Barmeyer shows in cooperation with Eric Davoine in an article published in the “International Business Review” how the German-French railway company, that operates high-speed rail passenger services (joint venture of the DB and the SNCF), succeeds in combining differences in systems with constructive intercultural negotiation. This leads to the emergence of new complementary work practices.
Apart from this, factors facilitating the development of synergistical work practices are presented: Structures of organization and communication, professional socialization, intercultural competencies and learning processes in bi-national tandems.

Interculture’s Netzwerk-Partner Christoph Barmeyer zeigt in Zusammenarbeit mit Eric Davoine in einem Artikel, der in der Zeitschrift International Business Review veröffentlicht ist, wie es dem deutsch-französischen Hochgeschwindigkeitszugbetreiber Alleo (Joint Venture der DB und SNCF) gelingt Systemunterschiede durch konstruktive interkulturelle Aushandlung zu kombinieren. Hieraus entstehen neue komplementäre Arbeitspraktiken. Ebenso werden Faktoren, die die Entwicklung synergistischer Arbeitspraktiken fördern, präsentiert: Organisations- und Kommunikationsstrukturen, berufliche Sozialisation, interkulturelle Kompetenzen und Lernprozesse in binationalen Tandems.
