Introducing our new Global Business Efficiency Pogram

Starting in the Fall of 2014, select working professionals and postgraduate students will learn the knowledge and skills they need to anticipate and produce desired results as thought leaders and practitioners within multicultural and cross-cultural work environments. Learning includes:

  • Efficient management
  • Creation of professional feedback culture
  • Design of organizational meeting culture
  • Global ethics
  • Virtual communication

Strengthening intercultural competences

The aim of the program in Global Business Efficiency is to develop and strengthen participants’ intercultural competence as a crucial capacity in the area of international business. The course is targeted towards professionals currently working globally and postgraduate students studying related topics, though all inquiries are welcome. The Global Business Efficiency program consists of two related modules Global Leadership and Intercultural Training and Coaching. Both provide theoretical knowledge and build practical competences essential for efficient communication and management in multinational and cross-cultural work environment. The first module covers a total of seven, separate and related sub-categories, including Developing Intercultural Awareness, Key Competencies in International Work Situations and Learning & Development in international organizations, among others. The second module offers a unique opportunity for participants who have already worked as trainers and coaches to gain a certificate in intercultural training and coaching.

Introducing the lecturers

Lecturers for the program will lend diverse experiences and perspectives. A host of program lecturers have been contracted for the program and represent perspectives from Central and Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia, North America and the UK. All are actively working across industries locally, regionally, nationally and/or internationally in the program areas and topics upon which they will contribute expertise. Lecturers are established in their fields as postgraduate professors; trainers; consultants in learning, organizational development and intercultural competence; managing directors; authors; and active members of professional organizations. Lecturers work and have worked in dozens of widely distributed countries on all continents—excluding Antartica, but including the Arctic! Their expertise in select modular topics are informed by academic and professional backgrounds in program design and development, talent management, executive coaching, e-moderation, marketing, business development, linguistics, finance, accounting, audit, recruitment, applied psychology, linguistics, communication and more.
