A Successful Cooperation

Since 2012, intercultures and Human Factors (the global distributor and owner of the Diversity Icebreaker tool) have been working cooperatively. After initial success using the Diversity Icebreaker tool with a client through the intercultures España (Spain) office, Anna Zelno continued cooperation with Human Factors when establishing the intercultures Central and Eastern European (intercultures CEE) office in Wrocław, Poland last year. Recently, Human Factors and intercultures CEE have signed a contract for further cooperation. There is more to come from this office in the way of diversity management.

The Diversity Icebreaker Train-the-Trainer

In January 2014, intercultures CEE organized a Diversity Icebreaker Train-the-Trainer with one of its key Polish clients, PGNiG (leader of the Polish natural gas market), Upper Silesia Sales Department. Together, intercultures CEE trainers and their client counterparts from PGNiG participated in the training with the goals of learning how to use the Diversity Icebreaker tool and discovering practical applications for the tool within organizational development processes. Training was facilitated by Piotr Pluta of Human Factors. An unintended outcome of the training was impromptu discussion of the group as trainers shared their professional experiences working with diversity and organizational change, and developing the key competencies to do their work.

A Positive Outlook into the future

intercultures CEE’s partnership with PGNiG will continue in the near future with several planned workshops that will prepare employees for effective internal collaboration with one another, as well as with current and potential clients.

intercultures Central and Eastern Europe continues to promote diversity management on the Polish market, in part, by organizing events that demonstrate the importance of a global perspective in professional cooperation. The next Diversity Icebreaker Train-the Trainer session will be offered to the public in Wrocław, Poland on 29-30 March 2014.

We are happy to meet you!
